We are conveniently located in the heart of downtown Birmingham on the corner of 2nd Avenue North and Richard Arrington, Jr. Boulevard North (21st Street North), directly across the street from the front of the historic City Federal Building.
From the North
- Headed south on I-65, merge onto I-20 E / I-59 N via EXIT 261 A on the left toward Atlanta / Gadsden.
- Take the 22nd St exit, EXIT 125 B, and keep right to take the ramp toward Art Museum / Civic Center.
- Turn slight right onto 22nd St N.
- Turn right onto 2nd Ave N.
- Immediately before you go through the intersection of Richard Arrington N and 2nd Ave N, take the driveway on the right to park in Central Parking System lot, or immediately after you go through the intersection of Richard Arrington N and 2nd Ave N turn right into the Birmingham Parking Authority Deck 6 (which will be immediately on your right beside the City Federal Building).
- Hooks Law is located in the building on the corner of 2nd Ave N and Richard Arrington Ave N (21st Street), directly across the street from the front of the City Federal Building.
From the East and Northeast
- Headed into Birmingham on I-20 W / I -59 S, take the US-31 S / US-280 E exit, Exit 126 A, toward Carraway Blvd.
- Take the exit toward Carraway Blvd.
- Turn slight right onto 6th Ave N.
- Turn left onto 24th St N.
- Turn right onto 2nd Ave N.
- If you intend to park in the Birmingham Parking Authority Deck 6, immediately after you cross Richard Arrington Ave N, look for the entrance to Deck 6 (which will be immediately on your right beside the City Federal Building), or
- If you intend to park in the Central Parking lot, immediately before you go through the intersection of Richard Arrington N and 2nd Ave N, take the driveway on the right into the Central Parking System lot.
- Hooks Law is located in the building on the corner of 2nd Ave N and Richard Arrington Ave N (21st Street), directly across the street from the front of the City Federal Building.
From the South
- Headed north on I-65, take Exit 260 B, the 3rd Ave N Exit.
- At the traffic signal at the bottom of the ramp, turn right onto 3rd Ave N.
- Take the 2nd right onto 13th St N.
- Turn left onto 1st Ave N.
- Turn left onto Richard Arrington Jr Blvd N (same as 21st St N).
- Take the 1st left onto 2nd Ave N if you intend to park in the Birmingham Parking Authority Deck 6 (which will be immediately on your right beside the City Federal Building), or immediately after you go through the intersection of Richard Arrington N and 2nd Ave N, take the first driveway on the right to park in Central Parking System lot.
- Hooks Law is located in the building on the corner of 2nd Ave N and Richard Arrington Ave N (21st Street), directly across the street from the front of the City Federal Building.
From the West
- Headed in on I-20 E / I-59 N, take the 22nd St exit, Exit 125 B.
- Keep right to take the ramp toward Art Museum / Civic Center.
- Turn slight right onto 22nd St N.
- Turn right onto 2nd Ave N.
- If you intend to park in the Birmingham Parking Authority Deck 6, immediately after you cross Richard Arrington Ave N, look for the entrance to Deck 6 (which will be immediately on your right beside the City Federal Building), or if you intend to park in the Central Parking lot, immediately before you go through the intersection of Richard Arrington N and 2nd Ave N, take the driveway on the right into the Central Parking System lot.

Metered on-street parking is available on Richard Arrington, Jr. Blvd. North, 2nd Avenue North and most downtown streets.
Uncovered parking is available in a Central Parking System open lot catty-cornered from our office. Payment is via a cash box and the rate is a flat $ 5 whether you stay an hour or an entire day.
Very secure covered parking is available in Birmingham Parking Authority Lot 6 which is located almost directly across from our office. Cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express cards are accepted at the cashier's window in the deck. Rate is per hour and caps at $ 8 per day.
